VWC

VWC

I co-founded VWC: a creative affinity group characterized by a communal model where roles are blurred, credit is shared, and each work is at once a singular vision and a collaborative effort. With projects oscillating between experimental, character drama, music, horror, and burlesque comedy, VWC has been likened to an underground intersection of Adult Swim and avant-garde movements.

The collective unceasingly pursues radical aesthetic and thematic innovation while remaining grounded in authenticity, examining the depths of the universal absurdity, loneliness, stupidity, and joy of human existence. VWC was co-founded in conjunction with Daniel Oh, Michael Cueto, and Alex Abrams.

BULLETSHRIMP!

BULLETSHRIMP!

I am the editor at Bulletshrimp!, a visual comic magazine created and directed by Vince Kelly. Bulletshrimp! uses pop surrealism and a mass market aesthetic to reframe gender and sexuality and explore how costuming creates constructed identities.

Bulletshrimp! is on a mission to completely liberate all LGBTQ+ people through short stories that focus on post-coming-out narratives, while never shying away from significant issues like widespread, internalized, and religious homophobia/transphobia. Bulletshrimp! navigates the complex realms of radical love and radical hate, all through the lens of compassion.
